BABA MILOSIJA

Born in 1938 in Majur (Serbia), she has had a life filled with the flavours and traditions of her homeland.

As someone who loves to garden, Baba uses her homegrown vegetables to make delicious fermented goods. Every dish she cooks up carries a piece of her personal story and a hint of the wisdom she has gained over decades.

Baba Milosjia is one of my two blood-related babas, yet her patience, knowledge and nurturing personality make her more than a grandmother; it makes her a tough, strong and determined female role model.

Her speciality is preserved sour goods and ensuring everyone's taste buds are oddly satisfied.

She is the SOUR Baba.
